This work was a custom commission painting for a lovely family from Mooresville, NC - United States.
The painting captures the terrace and the facade of the famous Parisian "Café de Flore".
At the first table I painted them along with their two cute doggies. :)

Saint-Germain-des-Prés is one of my favorites area in Paris, with its two wonderful coffeehouses Les Deux Magots and Cafe de Flore... It was a treat to paint this commission for my patrons and I am very grateful.

The Café de Flore is one of the oldest coffeehouses in Paris, celebrated for its famous clientele, which in the past included high-profile writers and philosophers. It is located at the corner of Boulevard Saint-Germain and Rue Saint-Benoît, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in the 6th arrondissement. The coffeehouse still remains a popular hang-out spot for celebrities and its status attracts numerous tourists. (wiki)
