ORIGINAL PALETTE KNIFE OIL PAINTING ON CANVAS / 36x36 cm (14 x 14 inches) / 2015
Inspired by the marvelous Jacobins square in Lyon, France and its fountain so beautifully illuminated during the Festival of Lights.
The Place des Jacobins is a square located in the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon. It was created in 1556 and a fountain was added in 1856. The place and the fountain des Jacobins in Lyon's peninsula have been freshly renovated in 2013, after 2 years of work.
The original has been sold to an art collector from Lyon, France.
