Original Textured oil painting on gallery wrapped canvas 20x20x4cm (8x8x1.6 in), 2020.
This painting is the oil version of my watercolor "Reading by the window".
This work depicts a woman, sitting near the window looking over a beautiful view of the city of Lyon, France with the Cathedral Saint -Jean and Basilique Fourviere far in the distance.
A favorite window view of me... :)
This work is part of the "Window People" series which I have started many years ago. This year I've painted several new artworks for this series, inspired by the current Covid context.
