Description

This is a detail of my oil painting “Sunset in Santorini”,60x60 cm, (2017).

Modern textural impressionist painting who captures the magical sunset on Santorini island and the beautiful unique architecture of the greek village Oia. This is part of a series of cityscapes inspired by my trips in Greece.

I fell in love with Santorini from the very first moment… with the magic of the place, with the amazing light, the breathtaking views, the colors, the unique minimalist architecture … A fairy tale setting surrounded by the sea… Everything there impressed me and inspired me so much.
